joining eyp
The first step to joining EYP is to come to one of our studios for either a free Pilates Intro Session, or a free Yoga Basics session. This so you can get a feel for our community, our Pilates, Yoga and Barre programming, and to see if EYP is a good fit for you. During these sessions, you will get a chance to meet an EYP Teacher, to ask questions, and get a feel for how things work at EYP.
If you decide to join us, we will direct you towards the right membership/package that suits your needs, and help you decide on the best path forward.
Keep in mind, there we are currently unable to add new members who prefer evening class times. We only can add new members as space becomes available.
our classes
We only offer classes that we truly believe in. Over and over we have seen the transformational power of the techniques we teach, both in our clients and in ourselves. Our programming is carefully designed to build from the ground up. We start with rebuilding the foundations, and progress into deeper work through patience and kindness.
PILATES
Pilates is a movement system that is designed to strengthen the core, correct movement patterns, and increase overall wellness by teaching you to connect your mind and body. We believe it is a great compliment to any other physical activity that you do. We offer small group and Pilates sessions on our equipment, as well as group mat Pilates.
BARRE
Our signature barre classes are carefully planned to strengthen and tone your whole body from head to toe, in a low impact, yet challenging way. Set to music with a great beat, barre takes the best parts of yoga, pilates, and ballet and combines them into an effective workout that leaves you feeling longer, leaner and happier.
YOGA
Our yoga classes are rooted in the vinyasa yoga tradition, but blend the traditional practice with a contemporary perspective. Our signature classes ensure a well rounded practice with an emphasis on developing a deep mind-body connection. Our experienced teachers focus on creatively weaving dynamic practice with intentional movement that heals, not hurts the body, mind and soul.
what to expect
Here are some hints about what to expect when you come to Endeavor Yoga + Pilates for the first time.
DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN PILATES, YOGA, OR BARRE BEFORE I COME TO THE STUDIO?
If you have experience in our classes, great! We will find ways to challenge you and deepen your practice. However, you do not need to have experience in order to participate. In fact, we are experts in introducing people to our practices! We deeply care that you establish safe and healthy practices that will help you feel better in your daily life, and believe that it is our responsibility to teach you how to do so.
WHAT CLASSES SHOULD I TAKE?
Unless otherwise indicated that they are intermediate/advanced, all of our classes are all levels, meaning that everyone can take them and enjoy the benefits of the practice. We encourage everyone to practice at their own pace, to take breaks as needed, and to develop relationships with our teachers so that we can better assist you in meeting your goals.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
For all of our classes, please wear comfortable workout style clothing. For yoga, barre and reformer, you can wear barre socks or go barefoot if you prefer, and for HIIT wear non-marking tennis shoes. We don't care about the label of your yoga pants, just that you are using your yoga pants! We carry a selection of workout clothing and other accessories at the studio too. #supportsmallbusiness
WHAT EQUIPMENT SHOULD I BRING?
For all mat classes, please bring a thin (>5mm) yoga or exercise mat. We have all of the equipment you will need for class, but if you prefer to bring your own, here is the recommended supply list for each type of class:
-
Reformer: Nothing is recommended, we've got you covered.
-
Yoga: Blocks, yoga strap, mat towel for hot classes, bolster/blanket for gentle classes.
-
Barre: 10 inch barre ball, set of 1lb and 2lb hand weights, yoga strap.
-
Mat Pilates: Power circle, 10 inch barre ball, 1-2lb hand weights, yoga strap.
You may not need all of the above for every class. We sell all of this equipment at the studio as well, including high quality mats. #shoplocal
DO I NEED TO BE FIT/FLEXIBLE/ACTIVE TO TAKE CLASSES?
If you are already active, great! We strongly believe that what we offer can compliment and enhance your other fitness passions. However, if you aren't, that's great too, because we get the opportunity to help you progress to where you want to be. Our classes will help create (or recreate) healthy patterns in your body, strengthen, tone and stretch your muscles, and aid in stress relief. Plus our community rocks-everyone is welcoming, encouraging, and non-judgy.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Each of our locations have been carefully chosen in order to provide safe and convenient access to our studios. All studios have well lit parking directly in front of our buildings. We ask that you practice consideration to our neighbors and not park directly in front of their businesses so that their customers can easily access their business. You're here to move, so add to that positive energy and walk a few extra steps!
WHERE WILL MY PERSONAL ITEMS GO?
We strongly recommend that you leave most of your personal items at home. We have cubbies that you may place your shoes, keys and phones it, however you will need to triple check that your phone is on silent before class starts.
WHAT IS STUDIO ETIQUETTE?
-
Preregistration for all classes is required. Walk-ins may not be allowed a spot in class if the class is full. Space in all of our classes are limited to ensure teacher/student ratios help you meet your goals, and because of equipment limitations.
-

-
Bring only necessary items in and use the lockers to store your personal belongings at your own risk, unless you bring a small lock.
-
Refrain from applying lotion or perfumes in heavy doses prior to class, some people have scent sensitivities.
-
While waiting for a prior class to finish, keep your voice low when you are in the lobby.
