PRIVATE AND SMALL-GROUP PILATES IN DULUTH & SUWANEE, GEORGIA

Pilates at Endeavor

At Endeavor, we teach Pilates through private and small-group sessions, with an emphasis on individual instruction and steady progress.

Our teachers work with clients of different ages, abilities, and experience levels. Whether you're new to Pilates or have been practicing for years, we'll help you find an approach that works for you.

OUR APPROACH

Our Approach to Pilates

Pilates is a method of exercise that develops strength, flexibility, coordination, and control. It uses a system of exercises that build on one another, allowing you to continue learning and progressing over time.

At Endeavor, we teach Pilates as a complete method, using the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Mat, and other Pilates apparatus.

Our teachers take the time to understand how you move, what you're working toward, and what you need from your sessions. As you develop, your teacher adjusts and progresses your practice.

We believe consistency, good instruction, and a strong relationship between teacher and client are important parts of learning Pilates.

Our teachers do more than demonstrate exercises. They observe how you move, provide corrections, and make decisions about how to progress your practice.

OUR PILATES PROGRAMS

Two Ways to Practice Pilates

We offer two ways to practice Pilates at Endeavor: private sessions and small-group sessions. Both are based on the same Pilates method, with different levels of individual attention and different ways of working with your teacher.

Private Pilates

One-on-one instruction tailored to you.

Private Pilates sessions give you the opportunity to work individually with a teacher who can focus entirely on your needs and goals.

Your teacher selects exercises and equipment based on your experience, abilities, and how you're progressing. Sessions can focus on learning the foundations of Pilates, developing a more advanced practice, or addressing particular movement challenges.

Private sessions are especially helpful for people who are new to Pilates, have specific physical considerations, or prefer individual instruction.

They're also a good option for experienced clients who want to work more closely with a teacher.

Small-Group Pilates

Personalized instruction in a small, consistent group.

Our small-group Pilates sessions bring together clients with similar experience, goals, and physical needs.

Rather than following a general class format, your teacher works with the group as a whole, progressing everyone through the Pilates method while providing individual instruction along the way.

Groups have a maximum of five clients, and sessions are 55 minutes long. We use a variety of Pilates apparatus, allowing clients to work through different exercises as their practice develops.

Groups are organized by our teachers, who also manage scheduling, makeups, and changes as needed.

Small-group Pilates is a good fit for clients who enjoy practicing with others while still receiving personal attention and ongoing guidance from their teacher.

WHAT MAKES OUR PRACTICE DIFFERENT

What to Expect at Endeavor

Experienced, Attentive Teachers

Our teachers do more than demonstrate exercises. They observe how you move, provide corrections, and make decisions about how to progress your practice.

A Variety of Pilates Equipment

We use the full range of Pilates apparatus to teach the method. Different pieces of equipment provide different levels of support, resistance, and challenge.

A Consistent Approach

Pilates is learned over time. Working regularly with a teacher allows them to become familiar with your movement and build on what you've already learned.

Instruction That Changes With You

Your sessions won't necessarily look the same from month to month. As your strength, coordination, and understanding improve, your teacher will introduce new exercises and challenges.

The Pilates Method

Pilates is a system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates. It emphasizes controlled movement, coordination, strength, flexibility, and the relationship between different parts of the body.

The method includes exercises performed on the Mat and on specialized equipment, including the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and other apparatus.

Each piece of equipment serves a purpose. Some exercises provide support while you're learning a movement, while others add resistance or challenge your control and coordination.

Our teachers use these tools together rather than treating each piece of equipment as a separate type of workout.

The goal is to develop a well-rounded Pilates practice that can continue to progress as you become stronger and more experienced.

GETTING STARTED
