Membership Questions

How do I book classes?

Book your classes using the EYP App.

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership cancellation requires 30 Day Written Notice. You can request cancellation on our EYP Membership Changes/Cancellation Form. Support Forms are linked directly below.

Can I put my membership on hold?

No. In order to maintain our small class sizes, we can't put memberships on hold for vacations, illness, or other reasons. You'll have to cancel your membership, and request reinstatement when you are ready to return. Membership reinstatement is subject to Membership availability.

Does EYP offer 'Hot Yoga'?

We do not offer hot yoga. Occasionally, we offer a Heated Power Yoga Flow class. Please see our schedule for details.

The EYP App is asking me to pay for classes, but I have a membership. What should I do?

Unless you are booking additional classes for your current payment period, contact the EYP Member Support Team to book classes in your next payment period with the Future Class Booking Request Form. Forms are linked directly below.

How do I purchase additional classes if I want to take more than 12 in one payment period?

On the EYP App, select the class you wish to book, click Book>Single Pilates or Single Yoga/Barre Class Pass. If you are an active EYP Member, the 50% discount will automatically apply to your purchase.

Can I use my membership at all EYP Studios?

Yes! EYP Memberships, Packages, and Private Session Packages can be used at any EYP Studio.

How do I update my credit card information?

Update your credit card information in the EYP App. From the home screen, click Profile>Wallet>Add a Card.

What happens if I don’t use all my classes in one month?

If you don't use all your classes in one payment period, you will lose them.

Can I buy a drop-in Pilates Class?

No. Every new student (even if you've done Pilates for years) is required to attend a Free 30 Minute Private Pilates session. Even if you've already done that, our equipment Pilates class formats do not support drop-ins. They are designed for members to progress at the same pace to move on to the next class together. Students in these classes commit to the process we have carefully created, and we give each member individual focus. When drop-ins are accepted to these particular classes, we cannot give regular members that attention, and space is not available for our regular members to reserve the equipment they need to practice. Non-members are welcome to purchase mat classes as a drop-in, and mat Pilates is our one Pilates class available to everyone!

Class Attendance Questions

Why is there a 24 Hour Class Cancellation Policy?

You must cancel your class at least 24 hours before start time, or you will forfeit the class. If you no-show, you will forfeit the class, and you may be subject to a no-show fee on your credit card up to the price of the drop in rate for the class you missed. Repeated no-shows may result in cancellation of your EYP Membership. This policy protects our small class sizes.

Why can't I come late to class?

Please don't come late to class. We start our classes on time, and we expect everyone to be present. Coming in late is not only disruptive to your teacher and other EYP Members, in some classes, it is unsafe for you to practice if you didn't warm up properly.

Why can't I skip the Free Intro Session or Reformer Basics Classes?

Each Pilates school is different. Our Pilates program focuses on teaching fundamentals of alignment, and on progression, so that we can build on a solid foundation. Our Free Pilates Session gives us a chance to see how you move, so we can better help you meet your goals. Our Reformer Basics Class prepares you for success in the rest of our classes. If you go straight to the Reformer Flow classes, we won't have time to teach you the Basics we need you to be able to perform in order to keep up with other members in the Flow classes. In short, we progress our Pilates Members using the Pilates Methodology so that your body gets its needs met, rather than giving a one-size-fits-all workout class.

Why is there a No-Show Policy?

If you no-show, you will forfeit the class, and you may be subject to a no-show fee on your credit card up to the price of the drop in rate for the class you missed. Repeated no-shows may result in cancellation of your EYP Membership. This policy protects our small class sizes.

Why can't I book some of the classes on the schedule?

Some of our classes are intermediate level, and you need to have permission from an EYP Lead Teacher to join the class. Mat Memberships do not include equipment Pilates classes, only Mat Pilates.

How do I cancel classes I can't attend?

You can cancel upcoming classes in the EYP App. From the home screen, click Profile>Schedule>Cancel (next to the upcoming class). All late cancellations are subject to the 24 Hour Class Cancellation Policy.

What do I need to bring to class?

We provide everything you need for every class type we offer. However, we recommend that you bring your own mat to our mat classes.

What happens if I am on a waitlist?

If you are added to class, you will get a text message and an email. We add people from the waitlist until 2 hours before class starts. If you can't come to class, please remove yourself from the waitlist, otherwise you will be charged as a no-show if you are added and don't attend.

What should I wear to class?

EYP Members tend to wear workout-style clothing. Yoga pants, sports bras, and workout style tank tops or shirts are recommended. Shoes are not worn in any of our classes, and we do not recommend socks without grip on the bottom for safety. We also discourage revealing tops and very baggy fitting clothes. All private parts should be kept private in the studio :)

Technology Questions

I can’t login to the EYP App. What should I do?

Check that the email address you are entering is the one associated with your EYP Account in MindBody. (This is the email address we use to send emails to you.) Reset your password. (We can't help you with this. We have no access to your login information.) If you have verified that both of these items are correct, and you still have an issue, submit a Tech Issue Report Form to us (include screenshots) and we will try to help you.

Why isn't the EYP App working on my device?

Troubleshoot first by logging out, and signing back into the EYP App with your email and password. Next, restart your device. Next, uninstall and reinstall the EYP App onto your device. Next, give up and cry! :) Just kidding! Submit a Technology Issue Report Form so we can escalate it to Mindbody for further troubleshooting!

Where do I find my membership information on the EYP App?

From the EYP App Home screen, click Profile>Passes. Active Passes and Memberships show here. If you have used all of your classes in your current payment period, your membership will show in the "Inactive" section until your next autopay is successful.

Can I cancel my membership on the EYP App?

Nope! You have to submit a Membership Changes/Cancellations Request Form 30 days before your effective cancellation date. You can complete this form by clicking the button for Support Forms a couple of sections above.

Why is the EYP App asking me to pay for class when I already have a membership?

If you have used all of your classes in your current payment period, and are booking additional classes, you can purchase additional classes at 50% the Single Class Pass rate. If you are trying to book classes in the future that are in your next payment period, you need to submit a Future Class Booking Request Form, or ask a Studio Assistant in the studio to book you.

What is the EYP Photo/Video Policy?

What is the Membership Cancellation Policy?

All changes and cancellations to all EYP Memberships require 30 Days Notice To Cancel in writing, by submitting the EYP Membership Changes/Cancellation Request Form. This Cancellation Policy is included in all Membership Terms and Conditions, and is agreed to in your signed contract.

When was I notified of the Membership Terms and Conditions?

EYP Membership Terms and Conditions were included in the contract you signed electronically when you purchased the EYP Membership. The EYP Teams make every effort possible to explain the terms and conditions during the sales process prior to processing the transactions in studio. EYP also follows up the Membership Purchase with an email series that is sent to new members. Signage in the studios also display the terms and conditions of EYP Membership. Reminders of the Terms and Conditions are sent each month in your email receipt when your monthly payment is processed. EYP does not assume responsibility for the excuse "I didn't know about the {fill in the blank} policy". EYP Membership Terms and Conditions are strictly enforced in order to protect our business and other EYP Members.
